My heart should be wildly rejoicing… Oh, what’s the matter with me?!
Julie Andrews as Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music
‘What Would Julie Do? Live’ returns to the Pheasantry for another evening of musical theatre therapy on Sunday 4th February. West End Star and Life Coach, Sophie Linder-Lee (Wicked, Rocky Horror Show, Big Fish) will be joining me and emerging Musical Theatre Artists to perform much loved show tunes, new musical theatre numbers and modern twists on Julie Andrews’ classics. We will share ideas about how to solve problems (like Maria), find the fun (until even the dullest job is a game), and tell you about a few of our favourite things. As Thursday 1st February 2018 is “Time to Talk day” the theme for February’s show is ‘Oh what’s the matter with me?!’; aiming to destigmatize mental illness. There will be a retiring collection for and 10% of profits will be donated to The Royal Theatrical Fund, who support theatre professionals in times of hardship due to illness (mental and physical).
Sophie Linder-Lee is from Nottingham and moved down South to go to Performers College after attending In Step School of Dance and Rollo Academy growing up. Sophie graduated Performers as winner of the Music Award and Third Year Award.
